The Catherine Albiston Prize for Recent Developments on Gender, Law & Justice gives students the opportunity to submit pieces for publication in the Berkeley Journal of Gender, Law & Justice during the 2019-2020 academic year.
We invite submissions of research, analysis, narrative, theory, and commentary that critically examine the intersection of gender with one or more other axes of subordination, including, but not limited to, race, class, sexual orientation, and disability. Pieces may be focused on theory or reflective of the pragmatic concerns of practitioners, centered on current legal developments or exploring legal history. We welcome interdisciplinary pieces, but there must be a focus on the law. Current issues include any issue of recent debate, news, scholarship, or advance
Please submit your pieces via email to email@example.com, with “Catherine Albiston Writing Contest” as the subject line by July 1st, 2019.
